“Kutitap” is this year’s Circus D’Ballet offering of Star City.  A team-up of Ballet Manila and Star City circus artists, Kutitap, is a show that celebrates the spirit, joy and wonder of the Christmas season. Admission is free for all Star City ticket holders.

Kutitap is the story of an angel who comes down to earth to see what is happening among mankind. Disguised as a disabled person, he interacts with different groups of people until his true identity is eventually revealed. The Christmas production underscores the values of kindness and generosity, laced with both humorous and touching moments.

The choreography is a collaboration of co-artistic director Osias Barroso, principal dancer Gerardo Francisco and Michael Divinagracia, among others.

Kutitap makes use of popular Christmas songs such as Jingle Bells, Sana Ngayong Pasko and Joy to the World in a medley arranged by Arnold Buena.

This year, with the addition of acrobats, jugglers, clowns, a magician and other circus artists, Kutitap is expected to bring even more cheer to audiences.

The free show at Star City has become a much-awaited treat among guests during the holidays.

“We are happy to present our Pinoy audiences with this heartwarming show that is both fun and full of thoughtful messages suited for the season,” said Ballet Manila artistic director Lisa Macuja-Elizalde.
